Donations

If you have some spare loose change or foreign currency feel free to pop it into one of the donation globes positioned throughout the international and domestic terminals.

Auckland Airport collects the money on behalf of travellers and distributes it to charitable organisations.

Donation requests

Money collected from the globes is distributed at Christmas time through Auckland Airport's '12 Days of Christmas' promotion.  Applications are sought in November of each year.

To be eligible for a donation you need to be a registered charity operating in New Zealand.

If your application is successful you may be asked to provide photos of your charity for inclusion on this website, on the donation globe signs, in the Airport Times and the airport's annual report.
