Auckland Airport are currently working with Magere College, Papatoetoe High School and Otahuhu College to provide work experience for students throught the Tertiary Education Commision's 'Gateway' programme.

Business Education Partnership

Auckland Airport has partnered with Papatoetoe High School in a Business Education Partnership (BEP).  The BEP was set up by the Asia New Zealand Foundation and launched by Education Minister Anne Tolley in 2009.

It calls for an increased focus to be placed on Asia knowledge, skills and competencies in secondary schools so that young New Zealanders can compete in the region, and to help ensure New Zealand’s relationships with Asian countries remain strong.
The BEP sees key Auckland Airport staff periodically engaging with students and teachers from the school to help educate the students by sharing their knowledge on aspects of Auckland Airport that relate to their curriculum.
