Evaluating sponsorship
Commercial sponsorship evaluation
All proposals are initially assessed by the Marketing Manager and then passed onto the relevant commercial department within Auckland Airport.
Sponsorships are evaluated against the following criteria. These have been developed to ensure the relationship benefits both parties.
- Tangible benefits associated with the partnership, beyond logo exposure
- Ability to reach targeted commercial audiences and build relationships
- Increase awareness of New Zealand and Auckland as a visitor destination
- Positive exposure of the brand, reputation and positioning
- Opportunity to create long-term value for the airport
Every application will be advised in writing of the outcome of their proposal within four weeks. Successful sponsorships will be required to enter into a written agreement that details the benefits within a contracted period. An evaluation of the sponsorship will be required on conclusion of the arrangement.
