Piper Heidsieck

Two words that embody Piper Heidsieck are “radiant and crisp”.

Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut spends 24-30 months aged on lees, which is up to 15 months more than required by champagne appellation law. This means that the character and complexity of the wine has the chance to deepen and improve.

The colour is a very pale lemon yellow with a generous mousse and a delicate refined bead. On the nose one finds aromas of white peaches, bosc pears and ripe grapefruit overlaid with a hint of freshly baked bread, citrus peel and toasted coconut.

This wine bursts into the mouth with soft generous stone fruit flavours and sweet citrus characters. The overall impression is of vitality and harmony with traces of liquorice, wild honey and warm brioche adding some depth and complexity. The finish is fine and long with lemon zest and nuttiness.
