  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
    1. Information produced by us on how to enter the competition draw and prizes for the competition draw forms part of these Terms. By entering the competition draw, you are deemed to accept these Terms. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and at any time, to replace or amend these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition.
  2. ELIGIBILITY
    1. Except as set out at 2.2 and 2.3 below, the competition draw is open to New Zealand residents, who are at least 18 years old and either join the Strata Club programme during the promotional period OR are existing members of Strata Club and earn Strata Club Points from eligible purchases through Strata Club Partners during the promotional period set out in 3.1 below.
    2. You are not eligible to enter the competition draw if you are our employee, an employee of any company associated with the competition, or an immediate family member of such employees.
    3. Acting reasonably, we may exclude any person from entering into the competition draw.
  3. ENTRY
    1. You may enter the competition draw as many times as you wish during the promotional period which runs from 12.01 a.m. on 24 October 2017 to 11.59 p.m. on 30 November 2017.
    2. We cannot accept responsibility for any lost, misplaced, illegible, damaged, stolen, late or incomplete entries.
    3. By entering the competition draw you acknowledge and agree that we may use your name, details and image for promotional and media purposes, and you will participate in any publicity arrangements which we reasonably require, in each case without compensation.
  4. PRIZES
    1. During the promotional period one eligible entry will be selected each week by random draw (as set out in 5.1 below) and will win the following major prize.
      (a) Two economy class return tickets Auckland, New Zealand / Manila, The Philippines / Auckland, New Zealand;
      (b) Two guest passes to Strata Lounge on the day of departure;
    2. Flights must be taken between 1 February and 30 November 2018 and include government and airport taxes as part of the prize. Any additional costs associated with redeeming the flights are excluded. Meal and beverage costs, airport or hotel transfers, domestic flight connections to Auckland Airport, accommodation, room upgrades, personal insurance, medical expenses, spending money, passports and visas (if required) and other ancillary costs are excluded. Flights must be booked directly with Philippine Airlines and are subject to availability. Blackout dates (including school and public holidays) will apply. All details will be included in a prize winner letter.
    3. During the promotional period 13 eligible entries will also be selected each week by random draw (as set out in 5.1 below) and each eligible entry will win one of the following prizes. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
      (a) Two single entry passes to Strata Lounge to be used within 12-months from date of issue; or
      (b) One set of Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Wireless Black Headphones; or
      (c) One Walker and Hall voucher to the value of $200 to be redeemed within 12-months from date of issue at any Walker and Hall store in Auckland; or
      (d) One Fitbit Alta HR Black Small
    4. If a prize is not available for any reason, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar value.
    5. The winner of a prize is responsible for any tax or other costs arising in relation to, or associated with, the prize except for the cost of a courier, if required, to courier the prize to the courier address supplied by the winner on email, within the designated timeframe.
    6. Each prize is taken entirely at the prize winner's own risk. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury (including but not limited to any indirect or consequential loss) suffered or incurred by you or any other person as a result of or in connection with the competition or any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. You release and indemnify us and any persons affiliated or associated with the competition in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, death, property damage and other losses that may occur in connection with the competition or any prize. If requested to do so you will sign a separate release and indemnification form in such form as we determine.
  5. WINNING
    1. Weekly prize winners will be determined by random draw. Draws will take place during the weeks commencing Monday 30 October, 06, 13, 20, 27 November and 04 December 2017. Only a person who originally entered the competition draw is eligible to win a prize. Where the winner of a prize is required to claim the prize in person, they must provide proper identification (such as, for example, a driver's licence, passport or birth certificate). Where the prize will be couriered to the winner, the winner is required to provide a courier address to which the prize can be couriered during working hours and where the winner, or a person authorised by the winner, will be available to sign upon receipt of the courier parcel containing the prize.
    2. We will notify prize winners by email, using the details provided, or held on your Strata Club account, at time of entry. If you fail to claim your prize within five days following notification, the prize will be forfeited. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to offer the prize either to the entrant whose name is next drawn at random or in a future competition.
    3. We may refuse to award a prize to any person who has, in our view, acted in a fraudulent manner, breached these Terms or gained an unfair advantage in participating in the competition.
    4. Our determination of the prize winners will be final and binding, and no correspondence or other communication will be entered into.
  6. YOUR PRIVACY
    1. We respect your privacy rights under the Privacy Act 1993. You authorise us, and other entities involved in tourism and related services, and our authorised service providers to collect, hold, use and disclose personal information about you (including your name, image and contact details) to conduct the competition and for future promotional purposes. You understand that you have a right of access to, and may request correction of, personal information held by us about you, which you may exercise by contacting us by e mail at [email protected]. Failure to provide the personal information requested in the entry process will result in the entry being invalid.
  7. DEFINED TERMS AND INTERPRETATION
    1. In these Terms, the following words have the following special meanings:
      "Terms" means these competition terms and conditions (as amended from time to time);
      "we", "our", "us" means Auckland International Airport Limited; and
      "you" means a person entering the competition.
    2. For convenience, these Terms have been grouped under different headings, but the headings do not affect the meaning of these Terms.
